This project encompassed complete electrical, fire alarm and information technology design for a meat processing facility.  Some of the project highlights were:

  • Coordinating for a new 3,000-Amp, 277/480 volt, 3-phase service.
  • New power distribution, fire alarm detection/signaling and Category 6 network data cabling to all the IT locations.
  • Provisioning for the 300kW stand-by generator system.
  • Emergency stand-by power for all equipment and process areas throughout the facility.

This design included a new Electrical Service, Telephone Service and a Cable Television service, City Connection to the Fire Department via a 16 Zone Radio Frequency Masterbox, the Analog/Addressable Fire Alarm System included smoke detectors.

Exterior Building Lighting system, Interior Lighting and associated branch circuit wiring based on the design guidelines provided. This office designed all Branch Circuit Wiring for all receptacles and small power needs based on the design guidelines. We provided Lighting and Power for all common, Support Wiring for all public spaces

This office provided the two story Allerton House with our complete Assisted Living Services which include; Interior Lighting Schemes, Site Lighting and Emergency/Night Lighting Systems, Normal and Emergency Power Systems, Personal Response System and a Fire Alarm System

Project consisted of a multi-purpose athletic field, baseball field and softball filed consisting of MUSCO field lighting and controls.  Lighting calculations were coupled with the visual software package to assist us in the design and placement of the lighting fixtures throughout the project. Minimizing glare and light spill were key components to creating well lighted areas throughout the complex.

The baseball and softball fields were fit-out with 3D camera systems for coaching reviews of pitching performances along with new Public address systems located in the new Press Boxes.

Power distribution was designed from the service locations to each 80’ sports lighting mast. Voltage drop was calculated for each circuit so that it did not exceed 2%. Wire sizing was adjusted to compensate for the voltage drop at each location

Project consisted of approximately 5 miles of pedestrian walkway lighting were VADINC performed photometric. Five multi-purpose athletic fields consisting of MUSCO field lighting and controls. All the lighting fixtures complied with Dark Skies of America and Point-to-Point Photometric data was presented to the planning board and approved for construction.

Power distribution was designed from the service locations to each 80’ sports lighting mast. Voltage drop was calculated for each circuit so that it did not exceed 2%. Wire sizing was adjusted to compensate for the voltage drop at each location.

Three of the five fields were fitted out with a sports bubbles system to allow the use of the field during the winter. New high-bay style detachable lighting fixtures were installed. A portable fire alarm system was designed and installed to allow notification to all patrons, player’s and coaches of an incident.
